Naqsh is the Arabic word for setting something in stone.
In Naqsh, we focus on producing content in Arabic for children from 10-14, as research shows is the time at which children start to lose interest in pursuing careers in STEM.
In 2019, Naqsh Science received its first grant from the Shoman foundation to produce and present live science shows around Jordan. Through these stage shows, we wanted to get local communities excited about science. We wrote and developed three science shows, built more than 40 experiments and props, and presented the shows on 15 stages around Jordan.
As our live science shows program ended with COVID, we started tinkering with the idea of making our own science kits. To extend fun science to the home
